Our pioneer year proved to be more than just a success--the combination of individualized instruction, married to the completely computerized hi-tech "Switched On Schoolhouse" curriculum, resulted in incredible learning strides for our students, and the implementation of a pathway to academic success for years to come!  This coming school year, we will continue employing this award-winning system of study school-wide for grades 3-12, while providing further enhancements to stay on the cutting edge.

For those unfamiliar with the concept of computerized learning, while the method of instruction is traditional--individualized lessons which are geared at full mastery of each learning concept-- features like 3-D animation and cutting edge multimedia draw the students in, engaging them in learning fun! Our aim, as always, is to provide our community with the finest Christian education available.

Grades 9-12: As part of our curriculum, each high school student will have full use of the computer resources on campus during the day, and will be required to have a personal computer with internet access at home in order to complete homework assignments at night. Because laptops are portable, we strongly suggest that the student's computer be a laptop rather than a desktop model, and that it have at least 2 gigabyte RAM (any less than this might interfere with your child's daily progress). PLEASE NOTE: Your child must have this computer with him or her on the first day of school, so that the learning software can be loaded by a staff member; afterwards, he or she will be able to take the computer home and only bring it to school as needed.

Grades 3-8: Because, as of yet, we don’t have enough individual computers on campus to accommodate every student, students in grades 3-8 will use the computer-based curriculum and will need a laptop like one described above which he or she will bring to school daily to complete assignments, and then bring home at the end of the school day. Please be aware that we will continue to upgrade our computer facilities, and that eventually all curricula at BMA will be computer-based.
